Buying Tips
- A Realtor is your representation and is there to find you your home. When working for you, I am looking out for your best interests, and to ensure you understand the purchase process, it is smooth and you are happy.
- Don’t skip the inspection, even if the home looks flawless. The most important point on the home is the bones and is it sound… That is the Inspector’s Job to find out and report.
- Be open to advice. Between your Realtor, Home Inspector and Mortgage Broker you have a lot of help at your disposal. Work closely with them so you know the process and don’t run into surprises.
- Research neighborhoods, ensure you know where you want to live, as that’s one of the most important points in buying a Home. You can change and upgrade a home, but you can’t move it once it’s purchased.
Selling Tips
- Do the needed repairs. Freshening up the look of your home with just simple things will help you to get the best sale price you can for your home.
- Neaten up! Time to make your home look as neat, clean and clutter free as possible.
- When thinking to put your home on the market, consult with a Realtor. Many do actions and spend money to fix certain things in the home, which honestly don’t get your money’s worth back in the sale.
- The Curb Appeal and first impression when a buyer sees your home is important.
- Keep it show-ready. Until your home is sold you want to be as available as possible for showings as inconvenient as it might feel.
